Many people believe an animal is just an animal and that they do not feel anything like us humans. However, they are wrong animals do feel pain, sadness, happiness, sorrow, and any other emotion we human beings have. The only problem is that they cannot express them on their faces. Animals feel when they are being hurt or they know something is not right and fight back when they are being mistreated but why do people mistreat them? Is it to demonstrate power over the animals, to teach them who is in charge, or to just be brutally cruel to them. It is understandable that we need food to survive and it is the balance of nature and that there are a numerous of vegetarians who are against it as well, but we should do this in a humane approach. How can someone have the courage and will to situate an innocent animal in a slaughter house. There are alternatives to slaughtering and if they are not then we can conceive ways. If we had obtained ways of creating nuclear bombs, high tech computers and cell phones as well as prodigiously deadly weapons. How complicated can it be to compose new amiable ways for any kind of meat, poultry, pork, etc consuming. Moreover, the merciless abuse of domestic animals needs to come to an end. If people do not want animals in their house or want to care for them then why do they covet a pet. I have seen commercials and pictures of pets that have been neglected and or abused by their owners and it is a gruesome site. What kinds of minds do this to innocent creatures, who do not want anything but to love their human and receive love back. I know sometimes animals misbehave and just will not listen but that does not mean people have the right to abuse them. Or people merely hurt them for the entertainment, this is not a type of entertainment and anyone how does this should be sent to prison. Pets are just like us they are like our children. We want to care for them, baby them and when the pet knows his or her owner well enough they become a part of them and the pets attitude and personality is a reflection of his/her owner. Wildlife cruelty needs to stop as well, there are many cultures who hunt animals for rituals and traditions like the Japanese with the whales. However, some might take advantage of these situations and kill to many animals. There is a limit to hunt for ancient traditions all over the world as well as poachers hunting animals for money like elephants. I love animals and millions of other people think the same, like humans they have feelings, families, and the right to live.
